My name is Owuraku Nyamekye Ampofo. I am a sports data journalist at the Multimedia Group, which is Ghana’s leading media organisation, with an audience share of 30% for television viewership in Ghana. I am mainly involved in the content development of sports shows on radio and television and also engaging articles for our online portal. In 2019, I was selected as one of the top 100 most talented, motivated, and passionate student journalists in the world. I got to attend an intensive media training programme in London organised by the British Council where I received exclusive coaching from world-leading editors, broadcasters, writers, and reporters, and see how publishers around the world are using technology to find stories and bring them to life like never before. Currently, I am focusing on data journalism and storytelling in sports.
